Can reminder sounds be customized for individual appointments?

In Outlook 2003, I could choose individual sounds for each appointment, or a
reminder, but no sound, for a particular appointment. In Outlook 2007, it
seems that I have to set a single sound for all appointment reminders, and I
can not mute individual reminders. Is there any way of tailoring the
reminders for an individual appointment?

Only by removing the reminder option. I do not recall being able to set
different sounds for reminders - it was always one for all or none.

Yeah, you can. Click the sound icon on the appointment form and choose a new
one for that appointment. In 2007 its on the reminder dropdown, at the end
of the list of times.

Are you using the sound command on the reminder time drop down? You can
also click the expand arrow on the Options chunk (lower right corner) - this
is actually easier.

Thank you very much for providing me with the simple and correct answer.
Also, please let Milly Staples know that her response was not correct.
