Can recieve emails but cannot send them -

Changed from outlook express to windows mail and can recieve email but
cannot send - error report comes up for all emails I try to send-
'the connection to the server has failed subject '...........' account:
'mail.eircom.net', server:'mail.iol.ie', protocol: SMTP, port 25, secure(SSL)
; yes, socket error: 10013, error number; 0 x800CCC0E
 
Are you using a laptop away from home? If yes, what you experienced
is normal. As a general rule, the owner of the SMTP server you are
using (IOL.IE) must be the same as the entity providing your Internet
connection at that moment. For more on this issue see
http://www.postcastserver.com/help/Port_25_Blocking.aspx

Please confirm your circumstances, and we will provide you with some
workarounds.

was able to sort it out with help from eircom
a few minor tweaks of the email set up got it back in action -
Bruce - rechecked settings - missed some details and got them
sorted -

Check all your settings and make the necessary changes.
