Receving e-mails ok. Out going go into the outgoing box and stay there. This
started after I removed laptop from cable and used it away from desk. I did
not use a wireless. When I reconnected I had a problem. Settings stayed the
same as I compaired them to my other computer With my other computer the
e-mail works fine. Cable look good, reset it twice.

Bill - This turns out to be a well known issue around here, you can find much
info. in other threads. Basically, an unknown root cause creates a stuck
header in the WinMail outbox which then prevents any further sending & you
don't get a Vista error message. If you are computer savvy enough to do
this, the band-aid solution is, after copying accounts & mail desired to
keep, delete the Windows Mail folder and let it regenerate clean & empty.
Then copy back the mail files. I've had to do that twice, first time was
with MS help on the phone holding my hand.
