can path to web app be a default doc

I have .NET and IIS 6

I want request like http:/www.abcd.com

go to

http:/www.abcd.com/testapp/index.aspx

what I am doing is trying to go to IIS and set a default doc
as /testapp/index.aspx

it says You are not authorized to view that page

Please help

why not just set the default doc in the root dir and do a server side
redirect
