Can Outlook retrieve new emails in different folders than Inbox?

I want Outlook to retrieve new emails sent to different folders like Bulk
Mail, or custom folders I create. Is that possible?
 
Use message rules to send incoming messages to different folders based on the
criteria you specify.

You mean sent to those folders on your mail server? Only if you use IMAP.
POP3 accounts only check the inbox - it's a limitation of POP3, not Outlook.
