Can outlook only show reminders for todays calender entries ?

I have a user that has dozens of entries in their calendar, they want to keep
the reminder option but for it to only show reminders for things due that
day. Can this be done ?
 
No. The reminders window will show any item that has a reminder that is due
or overdue. No customization is possible. The user would have to clear the
reminder on any item they don't want to show up or write custom code to
prevent the reminder from firing.
