Can Outlook 2007 Biz Contact Manager search within linked files?

Most of our contacts have linked files, usually Word, pdf, or Excel
documents. We wish to identify contacts according to data that is contained
in those attached files. Is there a way to include these linked files in the
advanced search engine?

Short answer, no. But Windows Desktop Search shouldn't have any
trouble searching them. You could put all your BCM linked docs in a
folder, in order to search just those files.
 
Thanks for the answer. One more question. If the Outlook 2007 machine with
Biz. Contact Mgr. shares the database with a remote user could the remote
user execute a desktop search to identify the desired data in the files?
