I want to use Outlook calendar as my main source for information. I would
like all the people in my network to be able to see my calendar but to not be
able to change it. I would also like to be able to sychronize my outlook
calendar at home and work. Can someone walk me through these steps? Thanks!

Well, you don't state whether your company uses Exchange Server on their
email server or what version of Outlook you're running, so I can't guarantee
that this answer will help, but if your mailbox (including Calendar,
Contacts, Tasks, etc. in addition to the Inbox) is on an Exchange Server, you
can set things up so folks can read your calendar without making changes by
doing this:

1. Right-click the Calendar
2. Select Properties
3. Select the Permissions tab
4. Highlight Default and set the Permission level to Reviewer.

This means that the default permission for the calendar is read-only.

For your other question, I don't really know of a good way to do that. I
know you can publish your Free/Busy data (but no appointment details) to the
Internet, and I know you can export an existing calendar as a web page, but
neither of those options let you sync, per se.

Good luck!
