Hi all,
I've got an ASUS DSL USB modem with RASPPPOE , and I can only connect
to my internet provider when I'm logged in as Administrator. Other
user profiles with lower rights can't launch the connection.
More precisely : in the « Network and Dial-up Connections » window,
the « Local Area Connection » for the modem appears to be grayed
when I'm a regular user.
However the Dial-Up Connection « Connection through USB IAD LAN
Modem » is still available, but useless if you can't activate first
the « Local Area Connection »
So far it doesn't stop me from surfing but other people in the house
may not be as careful as me when surfing as Admin!
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
