Can only open IE once

For about a week know I can only have 1 IE browser open at a time. If I right
click and select open in new window a new window opens but it replaces the
original window which dissapears. I usually have several browsers open at
once and this is a real problem for me. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. I did not install anything that corresponds to the start of this
issue however I do have automatic update running so I may have gotten an
update that caused this.
