Can one account have both POP and IMAP?

I have one Gmail account that is POP3 and allows server saving, and another
account that I need to use IMAP server approaches for. Can I do both in one
Windows Mail account? I have not been able to get the IMAP to work.

Get rid of Windows Mail since it is redundant and has been,
to all intents and purposes, superceded by Windows Live Mail...

You can then set up POP3 and IMAP accounts as you wish.
