I need help I am not able to received or sent emails. I enter my email
address and it comes back unsent. Plus, I do not know hat box it will come
in. Help please!

Who provides your email service? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider. If you currently don't have an email address,
we can help with that also.

Not everyone knows what a "CU" is; I don't and I have been using computers
for a long time, probably since before you were born.

Sam, A CU is a computer. I doubt that you have been using a "COMPUTER" before
I was born as I satrted with "COMPUTERS" in 1990. Also I was born in 1933.

1. You don't know how to spell..... what is " satrted " ?
2. You don't know how to do math to cover your lies and incompetence ......
what is 2009 minus 1933 ?
3. So, you learned computer " early " in 1990. Can you answer " What is a
Commodore " ? Who was the maker? In what year ?
4. The ONLY answer you gave to people was to disable AV scanning e-mails.
That's all you learned since 1990 ?
You are a 76 year old idiot.

So you are my mother's age. I have however been programming since the early
1970's and I have never seen the acronym CU for computer.

I do believe that it is possible for someone born in 1933 to learn about
computers in 1990 and not have any idea what a Commodore computer is.

I don't understand your comment "You don't know how to do math to cover your
lies and incompetence". Perhaps you did not spend an adequate enough time to
think about what you were saying.

As for the word "idiot", you seem desperate for a relevant criticism.

He gave no other answer than disable AV scanning e-mails. At least twice his
same answer was wrong.
He IS an idiot. He tried to impress people of being born in 1933 and learned
computer in 1990, as if 1990 is an important date for computer age. I was
born in 1943. There are some of us started to learn computer in universities
in the late 70s, early 80s. What is 1990 ? Bush league !
He IS an idiot.

Sam and t-4-2, I started late in COMPUTERS and have never claimed to be an
EXPERT as you two evidently are. I had the same problem as Joy and was just
trying to help. Just free advice with someone who had the same problems as I
did. Really not an idiot.

What others think of me is beyond my control, and in my age, I couldn't care
less.
I just call it the way I see it, right or wrong.
I am done with diplomacy.

You don't understand. It is NOT the " same problems ".
The sameness is only the Symptom. The Cause is NOT the same. 2 of them have
the wrong settings, it has nothing to do with AV scanning e-mails.
I am NOT an expert, but I do not pass out same prescription to all problems.

I bought my first computer in 1975 (TRS-80).

I've heard of the acronym "CPU", but not "CU". Perhaps it's copper?
