can not send email

Please quote the exact error message.

Have you used Gmail's POP mail feature successfully before?
The reason I ask, Gmail by default is webmail, and you have to
make some changes at their site in order to get POP mail.

This is the error I am getting when I try to send. Can you help?

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Test E-mail', Account:
'mail.lairdfam.com', Server: 'smtpout.sercureserver.net', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
 
I see at least two problems:

1. "smtpout.sercureserver.net" probably should be spelled
smtp.secureserver.net. Correct the typo in the account settings
and try again.

2.You are connecting from Qwest.net, is that your ISP?
If so, why aren't you using Qwest's outgoing mail server?
ISPs do not permit port 25 connections to a non-ISP
mail server like smtpout.secureserver.net.
