Hi all,
I set up a new domain tree in an existing forest, both dc´s are their own
dns servers.
When I try to set file permissions for users from the other tree´s domain I
can do
this for the second created domain, the users/groups and so on are displayed
correctly, When I try to display users from the other tree in the forest
root domain
I simply get a message that they cannot be displayed. Is there something
else to
configure in dns (secondary zones). The dns server I configured for the
second created
domain tree has the dns server in the forest root domain as a forwarder set,
which has
an internet dns server as forwarder.
scenario->
tree1
tree2
dom-1 dom-2
can not see users from dom2
can see users from dom1
dns1 with internet dns as forwarder dns2 with dns1 as
forwarder
any hints are appreciated
thx in advance Markus Feldmann
