I recently upgraded to Windows Defender Beta, but it did not properly remove Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1. They are both currently running on my system.
I have tried to remove Microsft AntiSpyware, but it does not show up in the Add/Remove Programs List and when I try to use the "Uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware" item from the Start Menu Program List I get an error "The action is only valid for products that are currently installed". It seems like the Microsoft AntiSpyware is in limbo where it is continuing to run, but Windows doesn't think it is installed.
Is there any way to manually uninstall AntiSpyware? Any other ideas? This is driving me nuts!
