For some reason whenever I try to use my local contacts for addresses
to send an email I only have access to an older version of the contacts
list. I can not find any way to be able to use the current contacts
list I think the old version is cached somewhere but can not find it.
Any ideals?

Provide your Outlook version and the steps you used to configure your
Outlook Address Book.
Provide enough details so we can tell what you are doing.

I have Outlook version 2003. I had a local copy of my contacts but
when my company setup web access for Outlook, I noticed that these
contacts were not visable. So I exported them into a CSV file, then
imported them back into my contact so I could have access to them over
the internet, then I deleted the local copy of the contacts. This all
worked fine and I added more contacts and did changes but everytime I
use the Address Book when trying to send an email it reverts back to
the old personal folder contacts which I deleted. Also the prepopulate
when typing a contact or distribution list in Outlooks always reverts
back to the old list.

I have exported and imported in different formats and that did not
help. I turned on and off prepopulate and caching and that did not
help, any ideals?

Ouch. I cannot think of a worse way to corrupt your data than to export it
to another format then try to reimport it. Avoid doing that in the future.
There is never any reason to do that.
What do you mean by "had a local copy?" Are you running against Exchange
server or using a local data file (or both)? How many data files do you have
in your current profile?

It is like if you look at the calendar there is a calender in personal
folder which does not show up on the exchange server (over the
internet) same here there was a contacts in personal folder which I
exported to normal contacts so I could see it over the internet, then I
deleted contacts in personal folder but it is the only thing that shows
up when I try to address an email...

So it does not want to see the contacts on the exchage server but goes
to the personal list which I deleted and can not find it anywhere. I
don understand what you mean by "How many data files do you have
in your current profile?" but I have about 25 contacts.

You need to clarify your setup. What do you mean by "over the Internet?"
If you are running against Exchange server (to which you would normally be
connecting over your network, not the Internet), why are you also using a
Personal Folders file?
