can not remove adware

Greetings

After I run spyware removal and also do a search for
adware I still get annoying adware ads, this is proabably
embedded somewhere in my machine but do not know how to
get rid of it....anybody have an idea? These also occur
after I close explorer, I am running XP pro.

Hi

Try this:

- Download/Install CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com

- Download/Install Lavasofts Adaware

for best result.*

- Download Winsockfix, just a precaution if you loose your LSP.

- Restart in safe mode, press F8 during reboot

- Run CCcleaner and remove all temporarily junk.

- Run Adaware

- Run MSAS

- Restart

Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at startup;
Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents
and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;
Run the scan while in safe mode;
If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recognize.
