Can not Play the File

Hello ,

I have Windows Media Player 9 Series installed on my
system.
When I play *.DAT media files, it generated an error
that " Cannot play the file"
Error ID = 0XC00D1199

Where as windows 2000 Prof. SP2 installed .

any one have solution ?

Windows Media Player currently does not support DAT media files. A third
party media player like WinAMP(http://www.winamp.com) might play these
files.
