Anyone tell me if there is a system policy that does not
allow you to copy and paste or drag and drop any item
anywhere within the OS? You can type at a command prompt
and get it done, but the paste is always greyed out after
a copy.

Thanks!

I have the same issue. I cannot copy/paste or drag/drop
any files with windows explorer. Windows explorer also
locks up when I try to right click on a folder after I
have copied a file and I want to paste it. If I go into
the folder in the right pane then the paste option is
greyed out when I right click.
thanks

It has to do with a RPC error after bing hit by a security issue, one of
the biggest yet, all Windows versions are vulnerable.Search MS site (I'm
sorry, I cannot remember anything tht could help you but it is a critical
update about RPC exploit) and they will give you a new RPC version or patch
and everything should returened to normal, I did that some time ago (<24hrs
from the news breaking I got hit).
