I have tried to open my website by going to the site on the interent,
clicking FP edit icon but it says server time out - tried to open it from
within frontpage 2002 - same thing...try to publish - same thing - my server
tech assures me that he has upped the time out for this site - and
reinstalled extensions - I'm not having any problem uploading my other sites
to this server - just this one:
www.daystarranch.com ... it does show up when you put in the URL - I just
can't seem to get it anywhere - I have recreated from scratch this website
under my documents\mywebs\daystar since it was originally under the
localhost - and I'm having trouble from the local host. I've had a lot of
trouble since updating to fp 2002 - at this point...even when I go to
File/Open Web and then click on networkplaces/localhost...it takes forever
to list the websites - and sometimes it just doesn't and just hangs there
and then fp crashes...
does anyone know if it could be errors or bugs or something on the
localhost? should I reinstall fp2002 - should I remove 2002 and then put
2000 back on - is there anything else I can check? I've done a search for
all the *.web files and come up with something interesting - before when I
did this it seemed like a normal 'find' and I deleted all of them - just did
another search - no .web files...
any help please??
thanks
