can not insert *.avi file

helo there :

now i'm prepare for a presentation using powerpoint 2k, if i insert movie files (*.avi), it's not shown (nothing happen). but if i insert another movie file it's shown.
so what i'm supposed to do to solve this problem

This is a situational problem, usually pertaining to a computers exact setup
(video drivers, codecs installed, conflicting apps, etc.). So here are some
general ideas to check out as you troubleshoot.
- Does .avi play in WMP or other app? If not, perhaps the .avi is corrupt.
- Did you recently install RealPlayer? It tends to hi-jack multimedia
settings and cause lots of problems.
