Can not find my documents-Mydoom worm???`

I received a virus and did what Norton Antivirus told me to do and went to registry and deleted what I was supposed to delete - Now I come out of Safe Mode and my computer doesnt have any of my file
I havent backed up anything in the pas
Are they still there and I can not recognize them??
If so - How do I find the
And does the computer automatically back my files up at any time>>

Of course it doesn't! It's up to you to implement a habit of regularly
backing up your files!
