Can not download from MS to up grade

I can not download upgrades from MS, though I am able to
get on the internet and read mail. MS gives an error
code of 0X800A138F. Can anyone tell me what that code
means and how to get rid of the problem.

Hi there

SOLUTION #1:

- Check your System Time and System Date and adjust it if its not correct.
Try again afterwards.


SOLUTION #2:


- Do you have a language defined in 'Internet Options'?

If not, try this:

- Open IE and in the 'Tools' Menu open 'Internet Options...'.

- In the new Windows that opens, click 'Languages' Button.

- There add a Language of your choice (the language you want the WU
Site to appear in). Click OK to confirm

- Restart IE and Windows Update.



SOLUTION #3:


- Have you ensured that in Lan Settings (in Internet Options->Connections)
'Use automatic configuration script' is disabled?
