can not delpoy offce through GP.

I have office XP installed on my workstations before I migrated to AD. No, I
want to redeploy office (with sp3) to there workstations. When a user
reboots, it says installing software but when I check the SP number it is
still the old sp which leads me to assume it did not deploy. Any ideas?

You have patched the administrative installation point with SP3 as it is
described in this article:

Which errors do you find in the clients event log?

Can you start the installation manually from the installation-point? (checks
if the permissions are right)
 
I applied the installation patch to a central point where I have office XP
installed on my server. used GP to deploy it to deploy it to users through
GP using the Assigned method. All users already have office XP installed
with SP1 but through manual installation. Will that effect the way it deploy
the new office install. Can I over ride it or maybe uninstall it and
reinstall it with out having to go to every workstation?
