I want to get rid of a specific dektop item (some rain-radar image)
which - when accessed - for some strange reason always seems to crash
(mobsync is always using ~50% CPU when trying to refresh that page and
apparently hangs with that forever). However, whenever I try to delete
the item from my desktop using (Desktop background right click) =>
Properties => Desktop Tab => Customize Desktop => Web => selecting the
item and click the Delete-button) the Display Properties windows hangs
and does not respond any longer. All I can do is to kill this via
TaskManager, but next time I open the desktop items again, this item is
still in the list.
How can I get rid of this Hydra???
Or - if nothing else helps: how can I deactivate Active Desktop?
