When I try to delete an appointment I get the following:
"The item could not be deleted. It was either moved or
already deleted, or access was denied."
This wouldn't be bad except the reminders keep popping up
and I have no way to stop them for this particular event.
It's outlook 2002 running the Exchange 5.5 client. Any
idea's. Thanks in advance for the help!

You could try using OWA (Outlook Web Access) if it available
and delete from there.

Thanks Nikki, I tried using owa but the re-occuring
appointment doesn't show up. I even tried exporting the
calendar to a pst and deleting the appointment from there,
but it didn't show up there either. I think it might have
something to do with the exchange server itself, but I'm
not quite sure...

When the reminder pops up, take note of the subject
line. Then try performing an ADVANCED SEARCH
or FIND on the Calendar Folder. Search for any type of
Outlook form that has that subject line. If one pops up
delete it from the Advanced Find window.

I once found a NOTE type of form that was not viewable
in my calendar but still held appointment information that
prevented me from booking at that time. I used the method
described above to remove it.
