Can not connect with remote assistance

I can not connect to the novice PC with remote assistance. Everything seems
to be set up correctly. It is not a firewall issue because I can connect
from the novice PC to other PC's. It seems that there is some service or
process not running.

Any ideas?
 
Any error message(s) when this happens?
Is this over a private LAN or the public internet?
How is the invitation being extended by the Novice, ie. email, file or messenger?

It is over a LAN and Internet. I can connect to a different PC in the same
room, but not to any Dell Laptops. No error message. Just unable to connect,
or session was cancelled.

I am testing with 2 pc's in front of me. So there is no firewall issue at
all.
 
Anything in the Event log that may provide a clue?
