I RECENTLY HAVE HAD TO HAVE A PARTITION RE-SIZED AND AFTER THAT I AM HAVING A PROBLEM CONNECTING TO MY SERVER VIA TERMINAL SERVICES AND WHAT I AM FINDING OUT IS IT IS LOOKING FOR A CERTIFICATE AND ISNT FINDING IT THERE FORE NOT ALLOWIING ME TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER . WE ARE NOT RUNNING IN TS WERE WE NEED A LICENSE . AND WHEN I LOOKED IN THE REGISTERY I FOUND 3 CONTROL SETS AND I AM THINKING THIS ISNT RIGHT BUT DO NOT KNOW ENOUGH TO MESS WITH THE REGISTERY . I HAVE FOUND A CONTROL SET 001 AND CONTROL SET 002 AND A CURRENT CONTROL SET KEY IN THE REGISTERY AND I AM THINKING THE ONLY KEY THAT SHOULD BE THERE IS CURRENT CONTROL SET ????? DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR TO ANYONE I COULD SURE USE THE HELP

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ALL YOUR HELP

Do *not* delete these ControlSets from the registry!
What you see are the normal ControlSets, and they should be there.

Instead, repost here with the exact error message that you get
when you try to connect and post also the information from the
EventLog (EventID + Source + Description). I presume it is in the
EventLog you read about a certificate?

If you want to read more about the different ControlSets in the
registry, check this:

100010 - What are Control Sets? What is CurrentControlSet?
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=100010

The three Current Control Sets are normal, don't worry
about those.

What are the eventlog entries that coincide with the
errors you are seeing? Are there any eventlog ids?
