I just upgraded 2 clients to Office 2003 Professional. Now neither of those
clients can connect to our Exchange 2000 (version 6.0 build 6249.4 sp3)
Server. All of our 2000/XP Clients work just fine and these 2 worked prior
to the upgrade.
When you try to connect you get the following error:
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window.
The set of folders could not be opened. Ther server is not available.
Contact your administrator if this condition persists."
Well I am the Administrator and am extreemly annoyed.
It works fine if I connect it to my Linux POP3/IMAP/SMTP Server. Just not
when I connect it to exchange.
I have searched the newsgroups and find a lot of people with the same
problem. Nobody knows how to fix it. Additionally from those readings it
appears that uninstalling it and reinstalling Office XP only works sometimes.
What do I have to do to fix this?
