Can not connect to exchange 2000 server

When I type server name and Mailbos check name, It return
the following message "The name could not be resolved.
The action could not be completed."
 
There are two possibilities.

1) Outlook is trying to connect to a global catalog server that hasn't
completed a full replication, global catalog server is not responding, or
the workstation has no access to the global catalog server the exchange 2000
is referencing the outlook client to.

2) You are missing some registry entries that deal with rpc connectivity.
(uninstall/reinstall tcp/ip on the workstation)
