Can not change start page... no general in Internet options help please

i have tryed everthing the regedit thing.. restored also
what is srybot is a site that does not work and retore
tabs what is that how do you do it.i had lasvegas cox .net
as my home page and searchv.com took over now thats what
come up please help
 
This is my normal response.
No idea what you mean by srybot. If you mean Spybot then it has
nothing to do with your General tab problem.
I aslo have no idea what regedit thing you did so try this:


Start-Run-Regedit

There could be more than one "GeneralTab" value.
Try these keys first and then search for GeneralTab (no space)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

Remove "GeneralTab" if present.
