On another of my computers I have XP and IE6 completely
updated from Microsoft. I have broad band internet
access. I am unable to connect to any website if I open
IE6 from the desktop, quicklaunch, or startmenu icons.
It just sits there and trys to load a page but never
does. If I open MY Computer or any other Explore area I
am able to brows the internet. How do I fix it to where
my IE icons will work like the rest of my computer?

Kelly has a tweak at line 20: Restore IE Desktop Icon Function.
