Can not add computer to domain that has an underscore in it

I can not add a computer to my domain. The domain name has
a underscore in it's name. like good_house

I get a message network location could not be found.

Is my problem due to the underscore? And if so is there a
way to fix it with out redoing the operating system.

I think the problem maybe a little more than just the underscore. Is the
domain a single label name or a proper name, such as:
good_house.com
good_house.rick
etc?

Unfortunately, if it is, that would be causing the problem. Underscores can
cause issues too.
