Hello,

I have an Access2000 application running in Access 2003 without any problem.
Running the same project in Access2000 leads to a very strange phenomena.
I open a form, try to find a record with a combobox, the record is found and
displayed in the form. From that moment on no button on the form is still
working. Ie the print button gives "You cannot perform this operation now"
(translated from the Dutch version). When I try to open the form in
design-mode I get "You cannot activate an other view. Programcode is
executing while trying to change view". I then tried to 'Break' the code but
no breakpoint is shown. Also halting code doesn't have any effect. So in my
opinion no code is running. The only way to get out of this situation is by
closing the Access session. A DB1.mdf is created in the folder of the
application without any interaction and the .ldf file is not removed. Trying
to remove the .ldf file gives a message that the file is still in use. But
is isn't. I have to end the Access-task in the taskmanager.
Does anyone recognise this behaviour?
Thank you for your help.

Thanks so far, but this did not work. I checked the code, most of it is
rather old, and never gave any problem.
The error I get when I try to open an other form or a report is error 2486.
There is no help available for this error.
