Can not access internet

Internet explorer can not access the internet. Other programs such as outlook and netscape can get to the internet. However IE gets either DNS errors or IE can not open the search page errors. There is no firewall install on the computer and i have check the hosts file and done a clean install of IE. The problem started after someone downloaded spyware and after it was removed the problem started.
 
There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
