Can nobody help re Duplicate Incoming Emails?

With no feedback to my last post, am trying again in a
dying hope ...

Am running Outlook 2002 on a Windows XP PC, serving 4-5
email accounts.

Outlook checks all the accounts but only one of them has
regular post - but two identical copies of each received
email.

I'd really welcome any suggestions about what I could do
to stop the duplication.

I've changed then deleted any rules.

It may have been down when you tried it...I tried it just before I posted it
(because I hadn't tried it in a while beforehand) and it worked for me.
