Can no longer list by Account

Business contact Manager no longer lists contacts by "Account". When
choosing Account option it now no longer sorts and leaves account column
blank.

How do I restore Account information? When I open the individual Business
Contacts the Account name is listed. But will not list, sort or search by
account. This started last Friday, up until then all worked fine, so it is
not an installation problem. The only thing I have done differently is
remove some categories from Business Contacts.
 
I am by no way a power user so I may be incorrect, but I found the same thing.

My workaround was that:

Account - as listed in the contact fields is not actually the account field for Accounts in BCM. ParentDisplayName is which is held in User Defined Fields. I found that if you sort by that then the Account name is displayed.

One additional thing to do is add ParentDisplayName to the columns, then select Format Columns (right click) and rename ParentDisplayName to Account.

Depending on where you are doing this however (BCM homepage) the information is never stored.

Try going to view and make a new list view. add the things you want to see
in the view and sort by.
