Can my yahoo account be the one used in Outlook?

Im having trouble login into Outlook can i use my yahoo account in outlook
and if so how do i do that
 
is it a paid yahoo account? You need to use pop3 access with yahoo and only
paid accounts support it.

Yes, I do it.

Note: If you use the USA version of Yahoo, you must pay. If you use the
international versions of Yahoo, generally you do not need to pay.

You need to get the POP/SMTP settings for your version of Yahoo. You
will find them under the Options button for Yahoo.

Issues for you: Generally cable and dsl providers will disable your
ability to transmit emails from anything other than their outgoing
servers. If you are a mobile person, you will need dial-up access as a
result.
