...can my public folder calender's events be linked to spread shee

I would like to build a gant chart in excel. The events that will be depicted
on my chart are already entered in a calender in a public folder.

Can I link the events listed in the calender to cells of the Excel
Spreadsheet?

I tried to build a Gantt chart from a calendar once in Excel and it took me 3-4 hours to get a pretty unsatisfactory result. And that was using built-in export to Excel, not writing code, which is what you'd have to do to get any live "link." I just exported data from the calendar folder to Excel, then played around with the technique in KB article 152820
