Can MMM 2.94b10 remember window sizes? MMM does not seem to
remember the second half split window with the following,
Mailbox, From, To, Subject, Date, and Size. Morever, the window
sizes seem to change randomly - without default. It is a big
hassle to adjust the window sizes each time when MMM starts up.
Has anyone else noticed this? Will this be fixed in the next
build?

Thanks for advising.

Some more notes...

1. Each time I adjusted the window sizes I hit File > Save to
try to preserve the adjustments, but this too does not work once
my PC is rebooted.
2. The problem seems to happen each time when WinXP gets
rebooted.
3. Tested without rebooting PC, exit and re-run MMM, it turned
out OK. I am not yet sure if this is consistent.

I am on WinXP Pro SP1...

I don't see this problem in 98SE. The only problem I have is that MMM
refuses to rememeber, between boots, that I want it full screen. The
relative pane size always remains where I leave it.

I don't thiink this has any bearing on window sizes. It is a good idea
to use it when you have made any changes to filters, or added accounts
because MMM sometimes doesn't take changes otherwise... and it certainly
forgets changes in the result of a system crash.

Oops... just bothered to read that you are talking about window panels
rather than the encompassing window. Anyway... I just wrote the
following and it may help somebody else:

I use PC Magazine Button Boogie v1.1, which is now shareware? I don't
know if you can use some older versions that may have been freeware.
It's hard to figure out what's what with PC Mag. Do a search for Button
Boogie, and if you can't find it I'll upload (if its ok). Has the
option to remember any window positions (will change the position to
conform after opening).

Button Boogie seems to be a useful tool. Damn, now I need to
pay to download stuff off PC Magazine. Can anyone who has it
email it to, askscott_at_gmail_dot_com ? TIA!
