Can Macro's have IF ... THEN statements?

Hello,

I need to create a doc that has 4 address options. What I
wanted was a dropdown list that let the user choose the
name and then have a macro fill in the full address based
on which option the user picks.

For example, user picks item1 from dropdown and text box
gets filled in with the address for item1, user picks item2
and text box gets filled in with address for item2 and so on.

Can anyone help me? I've never used Word for anything like
this before, but I'm sure it's possible, maybe just not how
I envision it. Any other suggestions on how to get this
done? Thanks.
