I share the printer on my Win2K machine with a couple of WinXP machines ...
peer to peer network. Can a Mac OS X machine print off my printer?

Thanks!

OSX uses Samba(www.samba.org) to speak with windows machines via the sm
protocol. On your OSX box go to system preferences and then t
sharring and your should be able to tweak things out pretty easilly.
Properly configured/tweaked you should be able to mount/map your OS
shares on your XP machine, as well as print to OSX printers from you
XP machine. Good stuff. Good luck.

yes it can but this group doesn't show how to; nor does
the KB as far as I can find
So far I've found it involves using lpd or Appletalk or
more expensive yet - Dave

good luck you're going to need it.
