Can individual calendars be merged into one group calendar?

I want our group to be able to input individual data in individual calendars,
and then that data is merged into "one group calendar."

This automates the process you are talking about. You can have one or
more group calendars and they can be configured with a specific set of
rules to either accept or reject the appoinment based on appointment
props.
it can even transform the original information into something else
(hiding subject or body, changing the label color.. that kind of
things)
