Someone told me the URL history in IE can slow the performance of a game.

How is this possible? My friend who is a software engineer, says my other
friend is wrong. He said any processing time delays would have to do with
disk accesses and he said it would be so small as to be almost
unmeasurable. And he said the URL list would have to be truly huge. But
my other friend is a good gamer?

Who's right? They're both friends of mine.

Should I worry about my URL history? I don't even run IE when I run my
game programs. I usually only have about 20 or 5o URLs. Should I clear
this every time?

Help me ... I'm not that smart on this software stuff!!

Software engineer is correct.

.
Thanks!

I'm an idiot. I should have known a software engineer would know better.
