can I use messenger on public computer?

Can I use windows messenger on public computer? Is it
safe? What I mean is my .NET passport (e-mail address &
password) and my contacts or at least my email address
(during signing-in) might be saved permanently on that
computer, could that be possible? Because when I try to
sign-in, I can see some email addresses on the sign-in
box. Is there a way so that my email address wont be saved
there or how can I erase it there? Thanks for the help.

It should be okay, but yes, these can be removed assuming you have access on this public
computer to do so. To remove it, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your
account name, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my
Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove an account by clicking the
passport you wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button. For
more detailed instructions and screenshots on this procedure, see here:

If you don't have access to do that, you might simply try using the WebMessenger client here:
