Hello,

do you know if it is possible to configure a Synaptics TouchStyk as a
joystick, so that it is listed as an available game controller?

Trying to play Flight Simulator 2004 with a keyboard only is a pain in
the ass.

Thank you,

I could be wrong on this, but it behaves just like a mouse right? If so
then no, as Flight Simulator loss using the mouse a couple of versions ago.

I used to do it 8-D then I got fed up and brought a joystick. :-)

I found a gauge called pads.zip in the avsim.com file library that
supposedly allows elevator and aileron control in FS 2002. I don't know
if it will work in FS 2004. Another file in that library called
mousejs.zip also claims to work in windowed mode FS 2002, but requires
FSUIPC.DLL .

If you need portability, I do recall seeing a joystick with a folding
base on the market.

I tested the Pads utility.
It works with FS2004 as well, and it is VERY useful.

Thank you,
