can i use a full size keyboard on a laptop

I would like to use a full size keyboard with my laptop. Can I purchase a
USB keyboard and use it? I have a Gateway laptop and would like to use the
number keys on a full size keyboard.

I'm using a full size USB keyboard with my laptop. I also use a USB mouse.

Don't see why not.If the comp as a usb port bang any old USB keyboard
in :O)
