Can I use 2 different drivers for one printer?

We have an HP5000ps3, which is mostly used for postscript
output. We have discovered that there is a maximum print
length of 129" for this driver in the Win2K environment.

I want to be able to switch to an HPGL/3 driver
occasionally for larger format jobs.

Can I set up 2 iterations of the HP printer with different
drivers? Can't see how.

Thanks for your help

Bob

Use the Add Printer Wizard to manually create the printer. Point to the
same Port (LPT,USB,Network), have disk for the driver, Change the printer
name to reflect it's use. Don't make it default since it did not sound like
this driver was the one you would use most.

HP printers will auto switch to the proper language (personality) unless the
printer is set to only accept one type of data steam. The default
personality setting is AUTO.
