Can I upgrade from beta to the release version?

I cannot find info on upgrading from beta RC1 to the final version of
Vista. This seems odd since I had XP and could have easily upgraded
from it had I not participated in the beta. Thanks in advance for any
help.

Chris & Colin,

Thanks for the info. I have Ultimate, but do not know how to
uninstall it and return to XP. If either of you has a link at your
fingertips, I'd welcome it; if not, I'll track it down. FWIW, I have
the Vista beta on a backup machine and basically quit using it because
it is: 1) incompatible with MSN Explorer (which seems odd), and 2)
unable to download a few routine client apps that I use.

You don't uninstall Vista. You install XP to return to XP. You must do a
clean install of XP just like you were putting XP on a new computer.

On a hunch, I tried installing Vista over the Vista beta that I've
been using. It went perfectly. It seems that Microsoft just didn't
mention (or I missed it) that Vista beta to Vista is treated as an
upgrade just like XP to Vista. In any case, thanks to everyone who
responded to my original post.

You used the Upgrade version?
