Sometimes I get 10 or 20 in a row, and have to click OK on each popup.
Thanks.........

In which case, you have at least 1 virus on your system.
Now arent you glad that Norton told you or you would be wondering why
you were having strange things happening with your machine.
The messages are the whole point of having an anti virus program.

Or do you mean the alert that tells you that your definitions are out
of date. If so, same answer applies.

Taff.............

If you mean the incoming e-mail scan pop-ups, try:

Options -> Internet/Email -> "Repair then silently quarantine if
unsuccessful" or "Repair then silently delete if unsuccessful"

Actually the messages just tell me that the virus has been deleted. I
really don't need to know every time a virus has been detected -- and
deleted. I'd like to turn the messages off so I don't have to press OK
every time.

Click on the OPTIONS button, then EMAIL. Choose one of the options containing
the word "silently".
